My Lord is always before me

“I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

NIV Psalm 16:8; KJV Psalm 16:8

Read Psalm 16

We are the beginning of a New Year yet again. This is the time when resolutions and goals are made and everyone is filled with hope that this year will be good, fruitful and perhaps better than the previous one. Surely this year will bring good things our way, but there will be challenges, disappointments and trials of all sorts. That is why we have to always set the Lord before us. He is our strength, our rock, our solid ground. With Him at our right hand, we’ll make it through what ever may come our way!

We May Stumble…

“24 The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
    for the Lord upholds him with his hand.”

NIV Psalm 37:23-24; KJV Psalm 37:23-24

It’s a new day, a new week and a new opportunity to do good, to be happy, to embrace life and all that Lord has planned for us. Hold your head up high, rejoice and delight in the Lord, for He is the one who directs our steps. Yes, we may encounter unpleasant people and situations. Yes, we may stumble, but we will not fall,  for the Lord takes care of us every second of our lives.

His Love Endures Forever

“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.”

NIV Psalm 100:5; KJV Psalm 100:5

Rejoice and be glad in the Lord. Embrace this day. Make it good. Make it worthy. You are covered by HIS unfailing Love. Every day of your life He is in you and you are in Him. He will uphold you. He will shine His Light into your life. HE LOVES YOU FOREVER.

Psalm 100

His Love Endures Forever

Remaining in Love

“9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

NIV John 15:9-11; KJV John 15:9-11

It’s all about Love my friends, Love and nothing else. Love moves, Love cares, Love appreciates, Love accomplishes. If we believe, we have the Love of the Father in us. That is a complete kind of Love. Don’t ever let it leave  you. Feed this precious Love. Be kind. Be understanding. Be truthful. Forgive. Help. Care. Laugh. Smile. Believe. LOVE.

No One Cares For My Life

“3 When my spirit grows faint within me,
    it is You who watch over my way.
 In the path where I walk
    people have hidden a snare for me.
 4 Look and see, there is no one at my right hand;
    no one is concerned for me.
 I have no refuge;
    no one cares for my life.
 5 I cry to you, Lord;
    I say, “You are my refuge,
    my portion in the land of the living.”

NIV Psalm 142:3-5; KJV Psalm 142:3-5

When troubles arise in our life, who do we turn to? Who will wipe away our tears? Who lifts up our spirit? The Lord mighty and strong! He is our refuge in times of troubles and doubts. Reach out to the Lord. Call on His Name. Seek His help. His Love surrounds us every day of our lives.

Search me, O God

“23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

KJV Psalm 139:23-24; NIV Psalm 139:23-24

Let God search your heart. Let Him remove all that doesn’t belong there. Hate, fear, anger, bitterness, envy don’t belong in your heart. Keep your heart pure and lifted up. God will fill it with His Love and the Spirit of Truth. ♥

Friends of Jesus!

“12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.”

KJV John 15:12-17; NIV John 15:12-17

What an honor and privilege it is to be a friend of Jesus! He has chosen us and ordained us. May we never forget that. May we always walk with Him. May we always speak and live His Word. How great and amazing is His Love for us that He gave His own life so we can be free! How great is the truth that whatsoever we shall ask in HIS NAME, it will be given to us! Let’s always remember that! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you it’s impossible. IT IS THE TRUTH AND IT IS POSSIBLE!

Be Happy, Do Good

“11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. 12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives.”

NKJV Ecclesiastes 3:11-12; KJV Ecclesiastes 3:11-12

God has made everything beautiful. Everything has its time. God’s ways are unfathomable; that is why we have to adjust ourselves to His timing and not our own. It is not an easy thing to do. While waiting on His answers we should always be about doing good and finding happiness in small things. Be HAPPY, Do GOOD!

Wisdom of men vs. Power of God

“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

KJV 1 Corinthians 2:5; NIV 1 Corinthians 2:5

Put your trust in God. He is powerful and mighty. Our Faith should stand in Him and Him alone. Love people, but do not lean on their wisdom. God’s wisdom IS the light to our path. Turn to Him for all your needs.

1 Corinthians 2

1 Corinthians 2:5

Where Does My Help Come From?

“1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.”

NIV Psalm 121:1-2 (continue reading); KJV Psalm 121:1-2

For all my doubts, for all my heartaches, for all my troubles I will lift up my eyes to the Lord.  I am weak and sinful. He is strong and pure. A person can fail me, but God never will. He is faithful. Nobody BUT the Lord is my help!  I will keep my eyes on Him every day of my life.
