Be reconciled to God

“17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors,as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

NIV 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; KJV 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Through Jesus Christ, God reconciled us to himself not counting our sins against us. In this passage we are called to be Christ ambassadors, His messengers, His representatives. How can we be ambassadors of Christ? We are to love, because He loved. We are to be merciful, just and forgiving. We are to spread the message of His love and urge others to be reconciled to God. So, dear friend reading this post, if you wandered away from God, if you think you are not worthy of His love, if you have sinned and think you can’t be forgiven, if you have a hard time making it on your own please know that God wants you back. His love and grace are larger than we can ever explain with human words. Call on His name, invite Him into your heart today!

Let us return to the Lord

“Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord.”

NIV Lamentations 3:40; KJV Lamentations 3:40

In times when I didn’t know God, I went through hard times and trials and it was so difficult to bear it all. I was breaking under the weight of problems and constant worries, many nights I cried myself to sleep and didn’t have much hope for the next day, much less for the future. I felt left alone and desperate until I found Jesus. Everything turned around for the better from that point on. It didn’t happen over night, but as I learned to trust God and pray and seek His will for my life, it made an enormous difference. This is my humble call to all of you out there who are struggling in any way. Examine your ways. Examine your heart. Is there something missing? Seek God. Invite Him into your heart, give it all to Him. Return to Him. You will feel the change in your spirit and in your heart. It will be joyous, uplifting and GOOD!

The Sins of The Whole World

“1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.”

NIV 1 John 2:1-2; KJV 1 John 2:1-2

When Jesus was sent to die for our sins, He was sent to redeem the whole World. Not just a part of it, not just Israel, or Italy, or Tanzania, or Russia. The Whole World! My distant friend at the opposite side of the world, Jesus paid the price for your sins too. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. And if you ever wondered if Jesus can forgive your sins, the answer is – YES! All you have to do is invite Him into your heart. No special words are needed, just say it as you feel. Ask Jesus to come into your heart today, ask Him to forgive your sins, believe on Him and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Remember, He was sent to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus Christ The Redeemer

If we claim to be without sin…

“8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.”

NIV 1 John 1:8-10; KJV 1 John 1:8-10

Today my prayer is that all that have been taught to be pure and without sin, may see the light of God and become aware that everyone is a sinner. I pray that all who believe their good works will make them deserving of the eternal life become aware that it will not. I pray that all who have hope but they are not quite sure if God will have mercy on them, become aware that they don’t have to doubt anymore. To all who have recognized themselves in all of the above: Jesus died to pay the price for our sins. Our hope and assurance is in Him. Believing in Him cleanses our sins, makes us pure and deserving of eternal life in Heaven. There is no other way.

Perfect in Love

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

NIV 1 John 4:18; KJV 1 John 4:18

If we abide in God’s love, we can’t be afraid. He loves us so much that He gave His only Son so we can be free from the chains of sin and death. If we truly believe and love God, there is no place for fear. We are forgiven and made perfect in love.
