“23 For the wages of sin is death, but thegift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
NIV Romans 6:23
I am a sinner just like you and in a perfect and pure presence of God Our Creator, there is no place for sin. Where the light rules, there is no place for darkness. To be able to get rid of our darkness and eternally dwell in light, we need help. Divine help. We can’t do it on our own. We can be good, we can be kind, we can be loving, still there is a nature to us that is not perfect and not pure. Despite that, God LOVES US! He is merciful. He is just. He is good. Accept God’s gift today: Salvation and Eternal Life through Christ Jesus.
“17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors,as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
Through Jesus Christ, God reconciled us to himself not counting our sins against us. In this passage we are called to be Christ ambassadors, His messengers, His representatives. How can we be ambassadors of Christ? We are to love, because He loved. We are to be merciful, just and forgiving. We are to spread the message of His love and urge others to be reconciled to God. So, dear friend reading this post, if you wandered away from God, if you think you are not worthy of His love, if you have sinned and think you can’t be forgiven, if you have a hard time making it on your own please know that God wants you back. His love and grace are larger than we can ever explain with human words. Call on His name, invite Him into your heart today! ♥
As a fairly new believer I am just amazed about the fact that our God is always there for us. Living without God and leaning on your own strength all the time is very hard. Going to the Source of all creation and love is essential to have a happy and purposeful life. All I want to say is just that I am so grateful that God has touched my heart and revealed His love and His grace to me. I am grateful for loving Christian people who have been (and still are) there for me and who have shown me with their actions Jesus’ love and compassion. I feel safe knowing that my God is there for me every second of my life. I run to Him every day, I thank Him, I praise His name. I am covered by His unfailing love.
Lord God, Father of all creation my prayer is that the New Year 2014 brings to this world more peace and less war, more food and less hunger, more laughter and less tears, more love and less hate, more understanding and less judgement, more care and less neglect. I pray that we love one another as you love us, I pray that we are always aware of your presence and that in all we think, say and do we are guided by Your unfailing Love. In Jesus Name. Amen.
“10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
This was the greatest news EVER received; the news of great joy that to ALL people a Savior was born – Christ the Lord! Find a quiet place and read these verses again and again. Let them sink in and enter your consciousness. Tears of joy will well up in your eyes and your heart will open and expand to receive the message above all messages. You have a Savior! Someone who loves you more than anyone will ever love you, someone who holds you in the palm of His hand and keeps you as a most precious treasure. Reside in His Love, follow His ways for He was sent to ALL people.
“1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Our Savior’s message is clear and to the point. Have faith, believe and do not be troubled! You are taken care of! When the time is right He will come back and take you where He is. What a great message of Hope! One thing you are asked of – TO BELIEVE.
Many people have a hard time believing in God. I used to be one of them. I tried to explain everything with the mind, reason, logic and the facts. I had my heart locked away in a dark place. Once you let your heart out and let your heart lead the way, you will recognize God and you will see that He has been there all along, waiting for the right moment, waiting for your heart to be ready to receive Him and His Love. ♥
25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
Not believing is the same as not having hope. Faith transforms and lifts up our hearts. Knowing that we are taken care of is a great relief for all believers. We can go through trials, but what ever we encounter on this journey of life our God and our Faith gives us strength to overcome. How great is His message of hope to all who believe: “I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH; NO ONE WILL SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND.” Rejoice, be glad and share this message of hope with the whole world! ♥
14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
Yes, he laid down His life for us! Yes, He knew that it will be so, but He did it because He loves us and because the Father commanded it! He rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father. Yes, He takes care of His sheep! Listen to His voice. Seek His Love and Grace. Apart from Him you can never be truly complete. That missing “thing” you’ve been searching for and can’t seem to find it, is His presence in your life.
The promise Jesus gives to Martha before he resurrects Lazarus is still the same and still valid! It is repeated throughout the Scriptures numerous times “WHOEVER LIVES BY BELIEVING IN ME WILL NEVER DIE.” Read it again!!! What a message of Hope did our Lord leave for the generations to come! So, do not fret, do not worry, just believe. The price for your redemption has already been paid. Believe in Jesus Christ, let Him into your heart, follow His commandments and be sure: He Keeps His Promises! BELIEVE! ♥
23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.”
God commanded us TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! How many times do we see these same words in the Bible?! It is repeated over and over again! So, let’s LOVE before we criticize. Let’s LOVE before we accuse. Let’s LOVE before we gossip. Let’s LOVE before we judge. Love lifts up our hearts. When we love we are closer to God. When we love, we are fulfilling His commandments and He lives in us!
