To love our enemies

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

NIV Matthew 5:43-45; KJV Matthew 5:43-45

It is hard to love those who persecute us, those who wish us not well, those who put us down or work against us… It is very hard. In our weak human nature we tend to do just the same to them as they do to us. But, having our hearts in Christ and having of His spirit changes how we see our enemies. If we truly are the followers of Jesus Christ we will love and pray for our enemies, and that is what sets us apart from the rest and makes us children of our Father in heaven who’s love knows no limits.

a Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You this day to Thank You for sending us Your Son, Your Holy Child to be our Savior and our Redeemer. How difficult it must have been to watch Him suffer on that cross, how heart wrenching it must have been to let Him die? It is because of Your Great Love that we are free. We often forget that Father. Please keep us in remembrance, ALWAYS! It is Your Great Love that makes it possible for us sinners to continue on living in Your eternal place and in Your holy presence. Thank You for the greatest gift that this world has ever received – JESUS CHRIST!

To us a Son is given

“6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
  And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the greatness of his government and peace
    there will be no end…”

NIV Isaiah 9:6-7; KJV Isaiah 9:6-7

Yes, to us a son was given – a Son who sets free, a Son who saves, a Son who brings Peace, a Son who Loves us so much that He gave His own life for us. JESUS CHRIST! Rejoice and be glad all of you who know Jesus, for there is no fear of today or tomorrow, there is no fear of death! He has overcome death. Seek Him all of you who don’t know Him, for He will truly change your life. He will bring Hope and Peace into your heart. Glory be to Jesus Christ!

The Sins of The Whole World

“1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.”

NIV 1 John 2:1-2; KJV 1 John 2:1-2

When Jesus was sent to die for our sins, He was sent to redeem the whole World. Not just a part of it, not just Israel, or Italy, or Tanzania, or Russia. The Whole World! My distant friend at the opposite side of the world, Jesus paid the price for your sins too. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. And if you ever wondered if Jesus can forgive your sins, the answer is – YES! All you have to do is invite Him into your heart. No special words are needed, just say it as you feel. Ask Jesus to come into your heart today, ask Him to forgive your sins, believe on Him and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Remember, He was sent to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.
