I seek You will all my heart

“10 I seek you with all my heart;
    do not let me stray from your commands.
  11 I have hidden your word in my heart
    that I might not sin against you.”

NIV Psalm 119:10-11; KJV Psalm 119:10-11

Read Psalm 119

Lord, I need you and I seek you every day. When I am happy I seek you, even more when I am sad. When everything goes smoothly I need you, but even more when things go wrong. Be with me Lord, that’s my prayer today and be with all who trust in You and all who seek You and all who are still not aware of You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Wicked and Ruthless

“35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
    flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
 36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
    though I looked for him, he could not be found.”

NIV Psalm 37:35-36; KJV Psalm 37:35-36

Haven’t we all seen those people who are wicked and ruthless and yet they seem to be doing so well and have it all? Do they really have it all? Are they guided by love and compassion or by power and greed? They will not cease to walk over dead people just to achieve their selfish plans. As sad as it is, it’s the way of the world. Our Father tells us not to embrace the world and its wicked ways, but to trust Him and His will for our lives. The truth is that way of the world passes; nowhere to be found. So, in reality we who believe are the ones who have it all – God who loves us unconditionally, who protects us and guides us, God who has prepared an eternal home for us once we live this earthly place.

The fear of the Lord?

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
    all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
  To him belongs eternal praise”

NIV Psalm 111:10; KJV Psalm 111:10

In our human ignorance we often try to lean on our own wisdom. Who are we to bow to anyone? Who is He that we should fear him? “I am a good person, I am doing my own thing” many of us may say. Wrong! Lose your pride my friend! Apart from God, we are just a bunch of  lost souls in the vast Universe. He loves us, but He also corrects us and wants us to obey Him and return to Him when our time here is up.

Gracious Words

“Gracious words are a honeycomb,
    sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

NIV Proverbs 16:24; KJV Proverbs 16:24

Did your mother ever tell you “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”? She was right! Words can be the sweetest melody or the most vicious weapon. Don’t ever let gossip leave your lips. Let all your words be good, comforting and pleasing to the ear. A kind word can make someone’s day and do wondrous things.

The Lord knows all human plans

“8 Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
    you fools, when will you become wise?
 9 Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
    Does he who formed the eye not see?
 10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
    Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge?
 11 The Lord knows all human plans;
    he knows that they are futile.”

NIV Psalm 94:8-11; KJV Psalm 94:8-11

How can we ever think that anything can be hidden from God? Our every thought, be it good or be it evil, He knows. Will we ever learn that God is omnipresent and omnipotent? How can we ever hope that He who created our inmost being, will not see our selfishness, will not hear our curses, will not examine our hearts? Lord, clean up our hearts! Remove all that’s not from You Lord, make them pure and fill them with You, until all we think, all we say and all we do is Love.

Those Who Are Disobedient

“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.”

NIV Ephesians 2:1-2; KJV Ephesians 2:1-2

Once we are truly born in Christ Jesus, our life starts a new. We are a new creation. We think differently, we see people differently, we speak differently. We grow as individuals. We leave our old ways behind. Those who are not at that point yet, often don’t understand this kind of change. It is not an obligation, it’s not a nuisance, it is a desire and a want that the Spirit of Truth instills in our being. Without Jesus in our life, we are weak, we are easily to walk into a trap of the ruler of this world. This verse says is loud and clear. Let Jesus in your heart today!

Remaining in Love

“9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

NIV John 15:9-11; KJV John 15:9-11

It’s all about Love my friends, Love and nothing else. Love moves, Love cares, Love appreciates, Love accomplishes. If we believe, we have the Love of the Father in us. That is a complete kind of Love. Don’t ever let it leave  you. Feed this precious Love. Be kind. Be understanding. Be truthful. Forgive. Help. Care. Laugh. Smile. Believe. LOVE.

The Door of My Lips

“3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord;
    keep watch over the door of my lips.
  4 Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil
    so that I take part in wicked deeds
  along with those who are evildoers;
    do not let me eat their delicacies.”

NIV Psalm 141:3-4; KJV Psalm 141:3-4

Think about your words. Are they good and supportive or are they discouraging and bitter? Words can hurt. Watch what you say.  Let God direct your thoughts and your speech. Speak Love and Truth.

My Inmost Being

“13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
  14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.”

NIV Psalm 139:13-14; KJV Psalm 139:13-14

Love people. All people. Celebrate life. All Life. Love the Lord. He is all around us; His hand in all of us. He knows our soul, our thoughts, our troubles, our dreams. Obey. Love. Be faithful. Be humble.

Friends of Jesus!

“12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.”

KJV John 15:12-17; NIV John 15:12-17

What an honor and privilege it is to be a friend of Jesus! He has chosen us and ordained us. May we never forget that. May we always walk with Him. May we always speak and live His Word. How great and amazing is His Love for us that He gave His own life so we can be free! How great is the truth that whatsoever we shall ask in HIS NAME, it will be given to us! Let’s always remember that! Don’t let anyone or anything tell you it’s impossible. IT IS THE TRUTH AND IT IS POSSIBLE!
