The Sins of The Whole World

“1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.”

NIV 1 John 2:1-2; KJV 1 John 2:1-2

When Jesus was sent to die for our sins, He was sent to redeem the whole World. Not just a part of it, not just Israel, or Italy, or Tanzania, or Russia. The Whole World! My distant friend at the opposite side of the world, Jesus paid the price for your sins too. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. And if you ever wondered if Jesus can forgive your sins, the answer is – YES! All you have to do is invite Him into your heart. No special words are needed, just say it as you feel. Ask Jesus to come into your heart today, ask Him to forgive your sins, believe on Him and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Remember, He was sent to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.

Wicked and Ruthless

“35 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man
    flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,
 36 but he soon passed away and was no more;
    though I looked for him, he could not be found.”

NIV Psalm 37:35-36; KJV Psalm 37:35-36

Haven’t we all seen those people who are wicked and ruthless and yet they seem to be doing so well and have it all? Do they really have it all? Are they guided by love and compassion or by power and greed? They will not cease to walk over dead people just to achieve their selfish plans. As sad as it is, it’s the way of the world. Our Father tells us not to embrace the world and its wicked ways, but to trust Him and His will for our lives. The truth is that way of the world passes; nowhere to be found. So, in reality we who believe are the ones who have it all – God who loves us unconditionally, who protects us and guides us, God who has prepared an eternal home for us once we live this earthly place.
