We are called to be free

“13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.”

NIV Galatians 5:13-16; KJV Galatians 5:13-16

Read Galatians 5

Yes, we are called to be free, but we enslave and imprison our selves with a way of life we think it’s right, with the clothes we think we should wear, with the car we think we should drive, with the amount of success we think we need to be happy.  And God forbid, we fail to achieve what we think is right, the whole world falls apart and we become desperate and broken. We are the inmates in our very own prisons. But, there is hope! We are called to be free and the only way to be truly free is to be free in Jesus, to love one another, to let go of our selfish wants and desires, to let Jesus direct our paths and to fully trust that His plans for us are much better than our own.

Eternal Life

“23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

NIV Romans 6:23

I am a sinner just like you and in a perfect and pure presence of God Our Creator, there is no place for sin. Where the light rules, there is no place for darkness. To be able to get rid of our darkness and eternally dwell in light, we need help. Divine help. We can’t do it on our own. We can be good, we can be kind, we can be loving, still there is a nature to us that is not perfect and not pure. Despite that, God LOVES US! He is merciful. He is just. He is good. Accept God’s gift today: Salvation and Eternal Life through Christ Jesus.

A New Year’s Prayer

Lord God, Father of all creation my prayer is that the New Year 2014 brings to this world more peace and less war, more food and less hunger, more laughter and less tears, more love and less hate, more understanding and less judgement, more care and less neglect. I pray that we love one another as you love us, I pray that we are always aware of your presence and that in all we think, say and do we are guided by Your unfailing Love. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Love Fulfills the Law

“Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”

KJV Romans 13:8; NIV Romans 13:8

LOVE. It’s all about Love my friends. We are commanded to love one another, to love our neighbor as ourselves. Open up your heart and let the Love come in. Let go of grudges, let go of anger, let go of bitterness. Forgive. Call a friend or a family member that you have not called in a long time. Show Love and kindness to a stranger. Pay it forward. Love will travel a full circle and come back to you. LOVE.

What Child is this?

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the greatest gift to the humanity – Jesus Christ. We will celebrate His Birth every day. And no matter if He was born in December, September or April, we will rejoice and praise His Name. He knows every heart and every thought. He knows those who truly love Him. Thank You for loving us Father and sending us a King to rule over the nations, to love us and to set us free. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Do not let your hearts be troubled

“1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

NIV John 14:1-4; KJV John 14:1-4

Our Savior’s message is clear and to the point. Have faith, believe and do not be troubled! You are taken care of! When the time is right He will come back and take you where He is. What a great message of Hope! One thing you are asked of – TO BELIEVE.

Many people have a hard time believing in God. I used to be one of them. I tried to explain everything with the mind, reason, logic and the facts. I had my heart locked away in a dark place. Once you let your heart out and let your heart lead the way, you will recognize God and you will see that He has been there all along, waiting for the right moment, waiting for your heart to be ready to receive Him and His Love.

Going Home

A message of Hope

25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

NIV John 10:25-30; KJV John 10:25-30

Not believing is the same as not having hope. Faith transforms and lifts up our hearts. Knowing that we are taken care of is a great relief for all believers. We can go through trials, but what ever we encounter on this journey of life our God and our Faith gives us strength to overcome. How great is His message of hope to all who believe: “I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH; NO ONE WILL SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND.” Rejoice, be glad and share this message of hope with the whole world!

To Love One Another

23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. 24 The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.”

NIV 1 John 3:23-24; KJV 1 John 3:23-24

God commanded us TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! How many times do we see these same words in the Bible?! It is repeated over and over again! So, let’s LOVE before we criticize. Let’s LOVE before we accuse. Let’s LOVE before we gossip. Let’s LOVE before we judge. Love lifts up our hearts. When we love we are closer to God. When we love, we are fulfilling His commandments and He lives in us!

Let Us Love With Actions

“18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

NIV 1 John 3:18; KJV 1 John 3:18

Love is an action, not an emotion. Love is a verb. Love does great things. Love acts. Love helps. Love appreciates. Love is there for you. Love listens. Love understands. Love and Truth go hand in hand. Let us love one another with actions and in truth.
